About me:
I have been involved with music since primary school, when I first joined the school choir. I loved the sense of being part of a team to create something beautiful. Music has since been a huge part of my life, and I consider it an important aspect of education.
I started teaching in 2018, but I have undertaken alot of study in my personal pursuit of improving as a musician. I have my AMEB gr 7 in classical voice and am currently working towards the grade 8 exam. I also attended the Jazz course at the Mackay conservatorium for 1 year. Some highlights during my musical experience have been trips to Hamilton Island with jazz groups, Magnetic Island with an akapel vocal group, multiple performances with choirs, small groups, and as a soloist. I also learnt guitar when I was in Mackay to be able to do solo gigs and further my musical education.
Here at Tone Town I teach guitar, voice, ukulele and music theory.
